GRAPHS: Breakdown of broadband stimulus applications--grant vs. loan requests

Some two-thirds of broadband stimulus fund applications are grant only, reports Endeavour Partners, and nearly 60% of the requested funds are associated with these grant-only applications.  In total, 77% of the applied for dollars are for grants. Endeavour says the totals stand in contrast to the government’s targets for the first round of applications, both in shear dollar amounts as well as the flavor of award (grant vs. loan).
