ABI: Backhaul leasing revenues expected to skyrocket

ABI Research says worldwide revenues from backhaul leasing are expected to double during the next 30 months. The firm also predicts that the growth curve will accelerate after 2012, resulting in revenue that increases by five times between 2009 and 2014. The main driver: Mobile operators preparing to move to LTE. While they aren't moving to LTE immediately, they have to upgrade their backhaul capacity before doing so. Release
