Chunghwa Telecom wants 3G iPhone

Taiwan operator Chunghwa Telecom is reportedly in discussions with Apple to sell the iPhone, but only if the company offers a 3G version of the device. The DigiTimes reports that the operator expects to sign an agreement with Apple in the first part of 2008. That gives us a hint of the type of timeline Apple has set for a 3G version of the iPhone.
