Deutsche Telekom has nothing against WiMAX

Deutsche Telekom AG Chairman Rene Obermann said his company would be interested in WiMAX technology if it owned the right spectrum, according to an article from Globes. Obermann was speaking at a conference in Israel last week.

"I have nothing against WiMAX… But we are unable to provide it right now due to the frequencies spectrum the state has allocated us," stated Obermann. "I hope that in future, when we have greater capabilities, we'll provide infrastructure for this as well."
