JetBlue will begin offering passengers free email access on an aircraft that will fly from New York to San Francisco. Passengers on "BetaBlue" will be able to connect to Yahoo Mail and IM services using their laptops or WiFi-enabled BlackBerry devices via WiFi antennae in the ceiling and computer server that relays signals to the ground. JetBlue was one of the winning bidders of air-to-ground spectrum back 2006.
