Juniper lowers mobile WiMAX revenue forecast

Juniper Research is forecasting that mobile WiMAX revenue coming from paying subscribers will surpass $15 billion globally by 2014. The firm said service revenues will grow slower than forecast last year because WiMAX networks are rolling out more slowly than expected. It also said WiMAX faces funding problems, spectrum auction delays in several countries and slow network implementation--all of which are hindering growth of WiMAX. Release
