LG, Marvell announce WiBro smartphone

Korean handset vendor LG Electronics and silicon provider Marvell announced the availability of a smartphone designed for Korea Telecom's WiBro network. The LG-KC1 boasts wireless Internet capabilities using the WiBro 4G network, terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) for mobile television, two-megapixel camera and Bluetooth functions. The device includes the Marvell PXA 320 application processor with XScale technology. Marvell purchased Intel's mobile-phone chip business last year.
