MetroFi logs 20,000 users in Portland

After taking a hit in recent months over poor coverage in Portland, MetroFi announced that its network there now supports 20,000 users, 11,200 of which used it for a total of 131,000 hours--an average of 94 minutes per session--in May. MetroFi operates the network through a partnership with the city of Portland. Residents complained in March about the poor coverage indoors and several outdoor locations.
