Ofcom announces 900 MHz refarming plans
UK telecom regulator Ofcom announced plans to allow for the refarming of 2G spectrum for other services and technologies. Countries such as Finland, France and Portugal have already been pushing for the deployment of UMTS in the 900 MHz band.
