Qualcomm CEO: WiMAX will suffer against 3G
Qualcomm shows no signs of warming up to WiMAX. Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs said during the company's quarterly conference call with analysts that WiMAX will "suffer in the face of competition from 3G." Jacobs criticized the technology and quality of service delivered by WiBro operators in South Korea, calling the technology a "commercial failure." Qualcomm and Ericsson remain the two biggest holdouts when it comes to the mobile WiMAX market.

Qualcomm CEO's remarks are shocking to hear.
It is crystal-clear that Qualcomm is losing its glamor aid new technological challenges, trying to tarnish the image of competing technologies, like WiMAX. Corporate execs are obligated to not make misleading blunders.
