Qualcomm has an understandable interest in controlling the bandwidth that it's paid (lots) for, but including Houston on this list might be tricky -- Nielsen lists Houston as the American city least prepared for the DTV transition.
DMB, the first-ever mobile TV standard, has got over 12 million subscribers in Korea since March 2005, but still hasn't reached the B.E. point yet. Could MediaFLO reach a B.E. point in time? I wonder. MediaFLO is a one-way broadcasting and may face growing competition from two-way multimedia operations on AWS channels later on.
