Ruckus has 802.11n incentives for enterprises

Ruckus Wireless today introduced a new incentive program to encourage enterprises to migrate their existing WLAN systems to 802.11n. The company said  that for the rest of the year, it will give discounts on its Ruckus ZoneFlex Smart WLANs that are based on the emerging 802.11n standard to enterprises that currently use 802.11g WLANs supplied by its competitors Meru Networks, Trapeze Networks, or Colubris Networks.

Ruckus said that enterprises that "swap up" the 802.11g systems they purchased from the rival firms can choose from four Smart WLAN 802.11n bundles to save as much as 65-75 percent off the manufactured suggested list pricing for their new systems. 

Ruckus also announced incentives to its Big Dog resellers and solution providers, offering a variety of new price discounts, rebates, and bonuses to those that exceed 802.11n sales targets. The incentives offered depend on the sales achieved and type of partnership the partner has with Ruckus.
