SPOTLIGHT: AT&T CEO: Verizon's open-access news overblown

Tools

During a dinner hosted by the Churchhill Club in San Jose, Calif., AT&T CEO Randall Stephens called Verizon Wireless' open-access announcement overblown and dissed Google's Android announcement. He said AT&T's network is as "open" as they come. "You can take a Nokia phone and connect it to our network, just put in your own SIM card. We don't see customers do that.
