Sprint aims to hone in on iPad

Tools

Sprint is aiming to get a piece of the iPad action by offering its mobile hotspot service bundled with an iPad case. Users purchase the Overdrive for $99 (after rebate) and sign a two-year contract that includes unlimited WiMAX and 5GB of 3G data for $60 per month. The Overdrive allows users to connect to the WiFi-only iPad and up to four other WiFi-enabled devices. The 3G/WiFi version of the iPad is expected to come to market at the end of April. AT&T is the 3G provider for that device, offering a pay-as-you-go plan for $15 per month for 250MB of data or unlimited use for $30 per month. Article
