Starent, Airspan team on mobile WiMAX

Starent Networks and Airspan Networks announced they will jointly deliver an end-to-end 16e Mobile WiMAX network solution. Airspan will incorporate Starent's Access Service Network (ASN-GW) Gateway and Home Agent (HA) with its MIMO-based 802.16e-2005 HiperMAX and MicroMAX Base Stations for Mobile WiMAX network deployments. The news follows Alvarion's announcement that it is now shipping 802.16e equipment.
