Survey: iPhone, BlackBerry users think they already own 4G equipped devices

Not surprisingly, a study from gadget shopping site Retrevo found that many smartphone owners are confused about what their devices are capable of doing. When asked if they plan on picking up a 4G-equipped smartphone this year, 34 percent of iPhone owners and 24 percent of BlackBerry owners said they already had a 4G device, which is impossible since neither Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) nor Research in Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) have released a 4G device yet.
